The Mediocres is a twice-a-week strip about the lives of its creators, brother-sister duo Will and Clare Peitzman, with some stuff made up to keep you on your toes. All the names have been changed for instance.

And without further ado, our cast of players!

Ellen, a high school sophmore, is the star of the strip. She is funny because she's smug and cynical

James is Ellen's 21-year old brother, and a carpenter. He is funny because he has low self-esteem

Mary Lou is Ellen's 18-year-old, college-bound sister. She is funny because she works at Harris Teeter. (Like everyone else...)

Naomi is Ellen's 11-year-old sister, in 6th grade. She is funny because she is cute yet very, very mean

Edward is James's 20-year old friend. He is a computer geek. He is funny because he'salways right.

Kirkpatrick is Ellen's lunch buddy, who has vowed to never learn any useful skill. He is funny because he is completely fictional.

Arafea is Ellen'sgood friend. She thinks she's an elf. She's funny because her eyes are NOT blue.
